We are excited to invite you to participate in our first virtual focus group for the Last Straw. We are looking for a limited number of moms and dads to try the Last Straw with your family in your own home and to share your feedback with us. Here’s how it works:
1. Send an email to sroberts@elementalinteractive.com and include the following information:
- Your name and e-mail address
- Your mailing address
- Number of children in your family and the age of each child
- Indicate that you agree to try the straw and share your feedback with us via email within one week of receiving the straws.
2. We’ll confirm receipt of your e-mail and your chance to participate. Then, we’ll mail a set of Last Straws to your home and follow up with a brief e-mail survey.
3. Try the straws with any milk or juice box/pouch product and within one week, reply to our survey with your answers and feedback.
This virtual focus group is limited to 30 participants, so hurray and let us know if you’re interested to participate. We can’t wait to get your feedback.

Hello:
I saw your exciting product on 11-Alive News. My wife and I have twin 4 yr old daughters as well as a 2 yr old son. Needless to say my kids love to drink out of juice boxes, and thus we are VERY prone to the spills that come from the straws provided with the juice boxes. My family would love to try the last straw, and I would be very happy to let you know how the usage of the last straw goes.

Hi, At last, there’s hope for my sticky floors.I would love to try the last straw.I have a 3yr.old son and a 5 yr.old daughter that drink those juice boxes quite a bit.I usually go ahead and cut the box open with scissors and pour the juice into a sippy cup.If I could try your invention,I wouldn’t have to do that anymore.I will share the feedback.

My grandchildren are coming this summer and this sounds like a wonderful answer to the juice box problem. They are 5 and 8 years. So needless to say they are juice box drinkers. I too usually will open the box and pour it in a spill proof cup. But when we are out I don’t always have that available. Like at McDonalds. But I love YOUR idea. Saw it on TV yesterday and what a great invention. I hope it takes off. Juice boxes are here to stay and this is a great solution. Best to you.

Good morning,
I would just like to say that you are a genius! I have been saying for about 8 years how the drink box companies should invent something like this. Back then, I did not have kids of my own only a niece, but, now I have a daughter that will be 3 in August, and a son that will be 1 in November. I would really appreciate the opportunity to be able to try this product. My daughter is so excited because we have just quit buying the drinks. Instead, we buy different kinds of sippy cups and my older niece and nephews really do not appreciate that because they are way too old for sippy cups. I have sent emails to the major drink companies that produce the drink boxes and pouches explaining that I really like the convenience of the drink boxes/pouches but the mess overpowers the convenience. Nevertheless, if they did have this new Last Straw attached it would convince more moms to try them out again. Thanks again for inventing the Last Straw and I hope I can try it out soon…

You know that you have a winning product. Have the plastics company you are having make these straws for you ramp up their production and sell them by the 100 lot on a web site. There is no better proof of the demand than sales to the public. We are grandparents of 3 and know of 100’s more. One look at your product, the word of mouth alone will overwhelm you and the companies you are targeting. Please start marketing to the public now, my furniture and I thank you. Lloyd

You have a winning product and need to market it to the public ASAP. There is no better proof to the companies you are targeting than sales to their focus group. Have the plastics co. that making the straws ramp up production and sell them in 100 lot groups. We are grandparents and know 100s more. I have a 2 yr old, and a 3 yr old, plus I run a home daycare in which I care for 10 children all under the ages of 5 yrs. This is the perfect invention! My kids love juice boxes, but everytime I open one I get sticky. Also after I open the juice box, I have to take a big sip out of it so it doesn’t gush all over when the hold onto it a little too tight, and most of the time I don’t really feel like drinking what is in the box! lol I would love to participate in your study. We have 2 1/4 year old TRIPLETS (2 girls & 1 boy) and these straws sound like the perfect addition to our home — and diaper bags! We saw you on Fox & Friends, and can’t wait to try them. Once you’re ready to sell/distribute, we will try to help by letting the Moms of Multiples groups know about them in our area (and throughout the country if you’d like). Those of us with multiples have many challenges, and no time for things like clean-up, so we truly appreciate inventors like you.
